Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu does not want to leave any stone unturned in the by-elections, which are going to be a test for his political career in the coming years.
Naidu knows that if his party does not win even half a dozen seats out of 25 for which by-elections are likely to be held, it will demoralise the party cadres and it will have serious effects on his prospects in 2014 elections. His leadership abilities and his credibility are also at stake in these by-elections.

Jahapana pressmeet - Telugu Movie
Lalitha Sri Combines is all set to launch a film titled ‘Jahapana’ by introducing Sashi Preetham as director. Sri Kruthi is the presenter. R V Ramana Murthy provided the story. A press meet was held today in Hyderabad in which writer Ramana Murthy, dialogues and lyrics writer Kedarinath and Sashi Preetham participated.
According to director Sashi Preetham, 90% of the script work and songs is complete. “I’m very impressed with the way Ramana Murthy garu is desperate to tell the world some truths in the history, he said.
Writer Raman Murthy said, “I worked for many documentary films and feature films in the past which were musical hits. I worked very hard for two years to pen the story of ‘Jahapana’. Sashi Preetham is an energetic music director who is going to direct this film. All technicians are seniors. The selection of artists is going on currently. We are choosing aptly suitable senior artists for the character roles. Though M S Reddy garu gave me a story before his death, I’m not using that. I wanted to utilize ‘’Jahapana’ for which I worked hard for two full years. This story tells the bonding between father and son, son and his lover and his lover and the king. We are going to portray this story on the screen in such a manner that reminds us of human values and culture.”
The story of ‘Jahapana’ is based on some truths of 400 years ago. It is the love story of a prince and a beautiful village girl in 16th century. The entire story revolves around two prominent characters – King Ibrahim, Prince Kuli and his lover Bhagavathy. The first shooting schedule will begin in January 2nd week.

Hrithik in Dhanush's fantasy film?
Post the Kolaveri mania, there couldn't have been a better time for South star and Rajnikanth's son-in-law Dhanush to announce his directorial debut in Bollywood. The actor is planning to take the leap into direction with a fantasy flick.
It is learnt that Dhanush is keen on casting Hrithik Roshan as his main lead. Says a source, "A few days back, Dhanush was in Mumbai and he met some people regarding his project. He has a few names in mind and Hrithik is on the top of his list. This is a big budget fantasy flick and he needs someone larger-than-life who can carry off the film."
It came as a surprise when Dhanush chose to make this movie in Hindi and not in Tamil. Says Dhanush, "When I say I am directing, I cannot even think of acting in the same space. It's my dream project and I want to give it my all. So I'd rather just focus on one thing. Though I think it is too premature to talk about the film, I am definitely finalising the story and looking at some big names to cast."

The audio of Prince Mahesh Babu's upcoming action entertainer 'The Businessman', which completed shooting recently and is gearing for Sankranthi release on January 11, will be released on December 22 in a function to be held in Shilpakala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Apparently, Hrithik has just hired most expensive American trainers – Kris Gethin and Maraica Johnson to get back into shape. Reportedly, the actor is paying Rs 20 lakh per month for the rigorous training session.
“The body building process that Kris uses is called DTP. Hrithik will have to go through rigorous training sessions that will change every week,” added the source.

Hrithik Roshan teaches easy way to quit smoking
Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was hooked to smoking not so long ago.
But when he chanced upon Allen Carr's book, "The Easy Way to Quit Smoking", he got free from his habit, and is now helping others too to kick the butt.
Hrithik first ordered the book, which was being endorsed by Hollywood celebrities like Anthony Hopkins and Ashton Kutcher, for himself. When the book arrived, he spent time alone and finished the book in a day.
Seven days later, he turned into a non-smoker, according to a source close to the 37-year-old.
The actor has now bought 40 copies of the book to distribute amongst family, friends and needy strangers too. From the film industry, Sanjay Dutt and Bobby Deol have already been given a copy each, said the source.

Jagan's advisor C C Reddy in wife-harassment case
It looks like the family of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is undergoing a bad phase these days.
At a time when the Central Bureau of Investigation is hounding his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with his alleged illegal assets, there are fresh allegations against YSR’s relative and former advisor C C Reddy, presently an advisor to Jagan.
His second wife Sarojamma Reddy, who lives in the US, lodged a complaint with the AP State Human Rights Commission on Thursday through her lawyer, alleging that her husband had been harassing her mentally. She said she had married Reddy in 1971 and since then, she had been facing troubles from her husband.
The Human Rights Commission had issued notices to the state chief secretary S V Prasad and director general of police V Dinesh Reddy to inquire into the complaint and report to the commission by December 7.
C C Reddy, who runs prominent educational consultancy services in the name of Visu Consultants, was former advisor to YSR on NRI affairs. He is also closely related to YSR – his daughter is married to YSR’s younger brother Y S Sudheekar Reddy. Right now, C C Reddy is playing active role in the YSR Congress party.
