It looks like the family of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is undergoing a bad phase these days.
At a time when the Central Bureau of Investigation is hounding his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with his alleged illegal assets, there are fresh allegations against YSR’s relative and former advisor C C Reddy, presently an advisor to Jagan.
His second wife Sarojamma Reddy, who lives in the US, lodged a complaint with the AP State Human Rights Commission on Thursday through her lawyer, alleging that her husband had been harassing her mentally. She said she had married Reddy in 1971 and since then, she had been facing troubles from her husband.
The Human Rights Commission had issued notices to the state chief secretary S V Prasad and director general of police V Dinesh Reddy to inquire into the complaint and report to the commission by December 7.
C C Reddy, who runs prominent educational consultancy services in the name of Visu Consultants, was former advisor to YSR on NRI affairs. He is also closely related to YSR – his daughter is married to YSR’s younger brother Y S Sudheekar Reddy. Right now, C C Reddy is playing active role in the YSR Congress party.
